Walmart and I "green"

Well, in this case, it's black. Heh! A couple of weeks ago I found out about Wal-Mart's reusable bags on their shopper, but when I went to buy one, they were out of stock (which it's a good thing since it shows people becoming more environmentally conscious). So it wasn't until today I was able to get my own. Isn't it a cutie? *wg* I wish it were slightly bigger and the bottom had a plastic support. Still, I love it. *g* So today's big shout goes to Wal-Mart for doing their part in helping the environment. Now, what are you waiting for? Get your own!

Sweet scents, oh my...

Do you like candles? I admit that I'm not a "candle person." You know, the kind that has candles around, decorating their homes. A lot of people are. Not me. However, when it comes to scented candles, I have a kind of a "sweet" nose for them. Hahaha! But don't give me floral scented ones. Can't stand them! I'm quite peculiar when it comes to scented candles. This afternoon I dropped by Walgreens on my way to home and found they had most scented candles at very reduced prices. For $1.59 each, I bought... Kathy Ireland Home Solution Scented Soy Candle Vanilla-Butter-Cream Tiny Temptations Candle: Creamy Orange Frosted, and... ... Rich Creamy Chocolate These soy candles have the most provocative aromas that ever graced my nose.

Happy 4th. of July!

First of all, to all my dear American friends, happy 4th! Glitter Graphics & Comments Hope you all had a great day! Me? I had a very quiet day. In the early afternoon, I went by Borders to pick a copy of Christina Dodd's 2nd. book in the Darkness Chosen series, Touch of Darkness. Although I wasn't crazy about the first book, I still like the concept of the heroines having to find the icons and save Konstantino, the father of heroes, so I decided to give it a second chance. Then I dropped by Walgreens and bought some snappers and sparklers. So tonight I sat on the terrace, eating some of the cake I bought yesterday while the sparklers lit my backyard. (Yep, I set them all up in the gravel and lit them!) There was something soothing about sitting in the dark, eating cake, and watching the sparklers illuminate the night. Don't know why... Heh! Oh, and yes, I did crack some snappers as I was celebrating New Year's Eve. Hahaha! Right now I was searching around the web and look what I found. A bridal dress for those who marry on this day. And yes, it's a wedding dress! It said so in the website where I got this pic. Would you go as far as getting married on this gown? I wonder...
