On Ericka watch

Just like everyone else in Puerto Rico, I've been obsessively following the weather reports on tropical storm Ericka. When you live in the Caribbean, you have to keep an eye on these storms. Especially after Hurricane Georges. Anyway, they have been claiming that the storm is weakening. But at 40 mph... well... we aren't not talking a gentle breeze to fly kites here. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Hey Ericka! Looking at the bright side

Here's on my second day keeping tabs on tropical storm Ericka. Although things aren't looking pretty, it seems like it's moving slightly upwards. So the island isn't covered in "red," which means we're in less danger. But who am I to complain? Today at 2:00 pm the official orders from the Big Boss said that work ceased at 4:00 pm and we were off till Tuesday. I'm having a 4-day weekend, baby! Yayy! Here's looking at the bright side.
