Back to the Grind

My two-week Christmas vacation is really (and truly) over. *sighs* I guess yesterday I was in denial as I went about running errants and cleaning my house, and that little fact didn’t sink in my brain until this morning when the alarm of my table clock went off at the ungodly hour of 7:00 am. Shit, I hate waking up so early in the morning. I used to be okay with it before. Maybe it's an age thing - you know, getting older makes you lazy. And then there was the cold after all the rain we had yesterday. It was so deliciously cold when the alarm clock woke me up, I just wanted to remain in bed, huddled warm under my thick blanket. It took me about 10 minutes to work some strength to get off the bed.

As for work, I was back to double duties again. Half the day in one office, break for lunch, and then the rest of the day working in another office. Ugh! Not exactly an encouraging way to begin the day - or to start work again after spending some time unwinding. Knowing how this was the first day of work after 2 weeks free, I still expected to have a less hectic day. Yeah, I should have known better by now, right? *sighs* Man, I’m so tired I can hardly think coherently so excuse me if my writing doesn't make sense sometimes. And this is only the beginning. By next week this is going to go into pure madness. Oh... I can feel my stress level rising. My doctor isn't going to be a happy camper. I can hear him nagging me for letting stress mess up with my health. Again.

A Golden Reyes Day

Today's The Three Wisemen Day, which means our Christmas season is officially over. My cousin was having a small gathering at her house, but I wasn't in the mood to around relatives
