Happy Valentines!

Hope you all have a wonderfully romantic day! Well, those of you who have companions (husbands, boyfriends, lovers, significant others, etc.) anyway... Which makes me think what those of you who are single do on this day to celebrate it.

I, for one, have never celebrated with a companion. It's funny, but looking back, I always managed to break up with my boyfriends before this day came. I never thought of it, but now that I do, I see a pattern. Hm... I don't know why I did it. Maybe deep inside, in the dark recesses of my mind, I never wanted to do the whole Valentine couple thingy. Or maybe I was too stingy and didn't want to buy anything for my boyfriends. *LOL*

Of course, even without being a couple relationship, I still celebrated Valentine's Day. When I was younger, I used to buy these black roses (which are rather expensive), and decorate my room with them. I'd buy red candles for decoration too. Then on Valentine's night, I'd take a long hot bubble bath, and lock myself in my room to read a good romance novel. Nowadays I don't do the roses and candle bit - especially since I hate roses. But I still curl up in my bed with a good paranormal romance novel and read it.

My new deviations

My first attempt at book cover creation was such a hit that Cora Zane and Cassandra Curtis asked me to work on their new book covers for their St. Valentine's freebies. Heh! So here are my new "deviations":

Not bad, uh? I could get used to doing this for a living. Okay, maybe not. *lol*
